What is SriRama Navami?
Rama Navami is a prominent Hindu festival celebrated in India. Northern part of the country celebrate it as a mark of birth of the great lord Sri Rama while this is celebrated as marriage anniversary of Sri Rama and Sita in the Southern India.

In South India, the festival is celebrated in every Vaishnavite temple with dedication and joy by doing the divine couple’s marriage.
Priests perform marriage of Lord Rama and Sita in the presence of hundreds and thousands of devotees. As one views the divine event, they go into a trance and receive the great couple’s blessings.
Panakam and vada pappu are the offerings for Sri Rama on this occasion.
