We all hit the gym, swim, walk, do yoga or any other form of exercise to lose or maintain our body weight. However, we may not get results as expected in the long run, if we are not strictly regulating our food habits. Here are some small but effective tips which aid our weight loss schedule.
- Use spices like pepper, cumin, cloves, ginger, garlic, turmeric and others in your daily menu. They help to speed up the metabolism and help in weight loss.
- Understand the difference between hunger and thirst. Don’t eat when you are thirsty. Drink plenty of water and other healthy fluids at regular intervals to stay hydrated.
- Skipping regular workout schedule may happen once a while due to some reasons. Go for alternative forms of burning calories like workouts which can be done at desk or cot to compensate that day’s calorie count.
- Stock loads of fruits and veggies on your dining table and in fridge. That appeasing and bright colors will drag your heart on to them encouraging you to snack on them.
- Paste inspiring pictures, quotes and your photos when you were slim and fit to inspire you.
- Don’t ponder too much about your over weight or other things. Accept your present form and stay active and inspired to attain your dream. But don’t over think or over do anything. It can turn the results other way.
- Tell your friends, relatives and colleagues that you are on a strict diet. Then your chances of cheating your diet schedule will be very less, at least for the fear of being laughed at. This is for your good only!!
- Don’t skip any meal. It only worsens the results. Eating at regular intervals keeps your metabolism active and in good condition.
